Fourth and last face-to-face partner meeting of The Circular Way project

The partners of The Circular Way project met in the Romanian city of Arad during the third week of September 2024 for the fourth and last partners’ meeting of the project.

This meeting has been used to throw the main conclusions obtained during the two years of life of the project, to reflect on them and to lay the foundations both for the sustainability of the results achieved in the project and to define possible future collaborations where these results will be put in value.

The partners have also had the opportunity to disseminate in Romania the main results achieved by the project, highlighting the benefits and utilities of the circular economy to make a more sustainable world and to achieve a greater inclusion of young people at social and labour level.

The project will continue its course with the realisation of the final dissemination events in each of the regions represented in the project.

Formação para Jovens: uma forma de envolver os jovens na economia circular e na inclusão

Entre 1 e 5 de julho de 2024 realizou-se na cidade de Santiago de Compostela (Espanha) a semana de formação “Formação para Jovens”, desenvolvida no âmbito do projeto O Caminho Circular para a Inclusão.

20 jovens de 4 países da União Europeia (Portugal, Letónia, Roménia e Espanha) tiveram a oportunidade de viver uma experiência intercultural e adquirir um conjunto de competências e valores relacionados com a economia circular e como esta pode representar um meio relevante para a inclusão social e laboral.

Desta forma, durante os 5 dias, os jovens puderam alternar sessões de formação em formato de oficina com visitas de estudo, participando de forma prática em experiências reais relacionadas com a economia circular e a inclusão.

O projeto continuará o seu percurso com a última reunião internacional de parceiros em Arad (Roménia) e a realização dos diferentes eventos de divulgação do projeto em cada uma das regiões representadas.

Formação para o pessoal em Santiago de Compostela para tornar a economia circular um caminho para a inclusão dos jovens

O projeto O Caminho Circular para a Inclusão realizou entre 17 e 21 de junho na cidade de Santiago de Compostela a semana de formação para formadores no âmbito juvenil.

Esta formação contou com a participação de pelo menos dois membros de cada um dos 5 parceiros do projeto, sob uma abordagem de aprendizagem entre pares, combinando uma série de ações de formação em formato de oficina com visitas de estudo relacionadas com o campo da economia circular e a inclusão social e laboral dos jovens.

As competências adquiridas pelo pessoal das entidades participantes como resultado desta experiência conjunta de aprendizagem foram as seguintes:

Competências Verdes: Competências verdes, baseadas nos Rs da Economia Circular
Soluções Formativas: Disponibilização de soluções formativas baseadas na Economia Circular sob uma perspetiva social e de mercado laboral
Integração: Desenvolvimento de atividades sob os princípios da Economia Circular para a integração de jovens com menos oportunidades

O projeto continuará o seu itinerário formativo com a realização, de 1 a 5 de julho de 2024, do Evento Formativo para Jovens (também na cidade de Santiago de Compostela), no qual os jovens dos 4 países da UE representados no projeto serão formados sobre as possibilidades que a economia circular oferece para a sua inclusão social e laboral.

Third Transnational Meeting in Lisbon (Portugal)

On 5 and 6 March 2024, the third transnational meeting was held in the Portuguese city of Lisbon, with the participation of the 5 partners of The Circular Way to Inclusion project.

In this meeting the different results achieved so far in the framework of the project were presented, especially the two Training kits on circular economy and on youth socio-labour inclusion.

On the other hand, the foundations were laid for the celebration of the two training events of the project aimed at both trainers and young people from the regions represented in the project, which will be held in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) during the months of June and July, respectively, and which will serve to enhance the training resources developed during the project and thus multiply the impact of the circular economy for the socio-labour inclusion of young people.

The next partners’ meeting will take place in the Romanian city of Arad in September 2024, where the conclusions reached in the project and the mechanisms for its future sustainability will be defined.

Esta ferramenta foi concebida para ajudar os trabalhadores juvenis a capacitar jovens vulneráveis através de práticas sustentáveis. Inclui módulos educativos sobre a integração de princípios de inclusão juvenil e práticas de economia circular no seu trabalho, com o objetivo de promover a inclusão social e profissional através da responsabilidade ambiental. The Training Kit “Circular Economy for Youth Inclusion” already available online

The Circular Way to Inclusion project has completed the Guidelines for Awareness Campaigns Related to Circular Economy.

These guidelines are one of the tools within the project, which aims to develop and improve the skills of youth in the area of Circular Economy. The objective of these guidelines is to provide the necessary information for workers and volunteers from youth organizations to create impactful awareness-raising campaigns that inspire the next generation to adopt sustainable practices and have a positive impact.

The main audience for which this material has been developed for youth organization workers and volunteers, who have the capacity to empower and support young people to live sustainably and adopt circular economy practices.

The best practices on youth inclusion at social/labour market level already available!

The Circular Way to Inclusion project has made available a new series of best practices, this time related to successful initiatives on youth inclusion at social/labour market level.

It is a new compilation of factsheets describing social inclusion best practices across Europe. The objective of these factsheets is to show concrete and successful examples of youngsters’ integration and involvement on the society, especially addressing those with fewer opportunities.

These best practices complement the specific ones related to circular economy and will set the basis for the development of the Training Kit on youth inclusion at social/labour market level which will be developed in the following moths of project implementation.
