Fourth and last face-to-face partner meeting of The Circular Way project

The partners of The Circular Way project met in the Romanian city of Arad during the third week of September 2024 for the fourth and last partners’ meeting of the project.

This meeting has been used to throw the main conclusions obtained during the two years of life of the project, to reflect on them and to lay the foundations both for the sustainability of the results achieved in the project and to define possible future collaborations where these results will be put in value.

The partners have also had the opportunity to disseminate in Romania the main results achieved by the project, highlighting the benefits and utilities of the circular economy to make a more sustainable world and to achieve a greater inclusion of young people at social and labour level.

The project will continue its course with the realisation of the final dissemination events in each of the regions represented in the project.

Formare pentru tineri: un mod de a implica tinerii în economia circulară și incluziune

În perioada 1-5 iulie 2024 a avut loc în orașul Santiago de Compostela (Spania) săptămâna de formare “Training for Youngsters”, dezvoltată în cadrul proiectului The Circular Way to Inclusion.

20 de tineri din 4 țări ale Uniunii Europene (Portugalia, Letonia, România și Spania) au avut ocazia să trăiască o experiență interculturală și să dobândească o serie de abilități și valori legate de economia circulară și modul în care aceasta poate reprezenta un mijloc relevant pentru incluziunea socială și profesională.

Astfel, pe parcursul celor 5 zile, tinerii au putut alterna sesiuni de formare de tip atelier cu vizite de studiu, unde au participat practic la experiențe reale legate de economia circulară și incluziune.

Proiectul își va continua parcursul cu ultima întâlnire a partenerilor internaționali la Arad (România) și cu realizarea diferitelor evenimente de diseminare ale proiectului în fiecare dintre regiunile reprezentate.

Formare pentru personal în Santiago de Compostela pentru a transforma economia circulară într-un mod de incluziune pentru tineri

Proiectul The Circular Way to Inclusion a organizat între 17 și 21 iunie în orașul Santiago de Compostela săptămâna de formare pentru formatori în domeniul tineretului.

Această formare a avut participarea a cel puțin doi membri din fiecare dintre cei 5 parteneri ai proiectului, utilizând o abordare de învățare între egali, combinând o serie de acțiuni de formare de tip atelier cu vizite de studiu legate de domeniul economiei circulare și al incluziunii sociale și profesionale a tinerilor.

Competențele dobândite de personalul entităților participante ca urmare a acestei experiențe comune de învățare au fost următoarele:

Competențe verzi: Competențe verzi, bazate pe principiile „R” ale economiei circulare
Soluții de formare: Furnizarea de soluții de formare bazate pe economia circulară, dintr-o perspectivă socială și a pieței muncii
Integrare: Dezvoltarea de activități conform principiilor economiei circulare pentru integrarea tinerilor cu mai puține oportunități

Proiectul își va continua itinerariul de formare cu organizarea evenimentului de formare pentru tineri între 1 și 5 iulie 2024 (tot în orașul Santiago de Compostela), în cadrul căruia tinerii din cele 4 țări UE reprezentate în proiect vor fi instruiți cu privire la posibilitățile pe care economia circulară le oferă pentru incluziunea lor socială și profesională.

Third Transnational Meeting in Lisbon (Portugal)

On 5 and 6 March 2024, the third transnational meeting was held in the Portuguese city of Lisbon, with the participation of the 5 partners of The Circular Way to Inclusion project.

In this meeting the different results achieved so far in the framework of the project were presented, especially the two Training kits on circular economy and on youth socio-labour inclusion.

On the other hand, the foundations were laid for the celebration of the two training events of the project aimed at both trainers and young people from the regions represented in the project, which will be held in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) during the months of June and July, respectively, and which will serve to enhance the training resources developed during the project and thus multiply the impact of the circular economy for the socio-labour inclusion of young people.

The next partners’ meeting will take place in the Romanian city of Arad in September 2024, where the conclusions reached in the project and the mechanisms for its future sustainability will be defined.

The Circular Way to Inclusion project has completed the Guidelines for Awareness Campaigns Related to Circular Economy.

These guidelines are one of the tools within the project, which aims to develop and improve the skills of youth in the area of Circular Economy. The objective of these guidelines is to provide the necessary information for workers and volunteers from youth organizations to create impactful awareness-raising campaigns that inspire the next generation to adopt sustainable practices and have a positive impact.

The main audience for which this material has been developed for youth organization workers and volunteers, who have the capacity to empower and support young people to live sustainably and adopt circular economy practices.

The best practices on youth inclusion at social/labour market level already available!

The Circular Way to Inclusion project has made available a new series of best practices, this time related to successful initiatives on youth inclusion at social/labour market level.

It is a new compilation of factsheets describing social inclusion best practices across Europe. The objective of these factsheets is to show concrete and successful examples of youngsters’ integration and involvement on the society, especially addressing those with fewer opportunities.

These best practices complement the specific ones related to circular economy and will set the basis for the development of the Training Kit on youth inclusion at social/labour market level which will be developed in the following moths of project implementation.
