Initiated by several individuals affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in A Coruña, the “Asociación Coruñesa de Esclerosis Múltiple” (Coruña Association of Multiple Sclerosis) was established in 1995. Its purpose is to promote and coordinate the defense of the rights of people with MS and other individuals with disabilities. ACEM is defined as a nonprofit, independent, free, non-denominational, non-partisan, non-governmental, and voluntary organization.
