The Association “Grupo Diversidad Funcional Ferrol y Comarcas” is born out of the need to unite the efforts of a group of individuals with physical disabilities in Ferrol to advocate for the human rights of people with disabilities, with the objectives of promoting the defense of the living conditions of people with disabilities, coordinating, boosting, and enhancing the objectives and activities of its members, representing its members before public authorities and other social agents, promoting international cooperation and development, as well as fighting against poverty in the field of disability on an international scale, promoting the personal and social development of women with disabilities, and promoting and implementing all kinds of cultural, educational, and leisure initiatives aimed at people with disabilities.
