The Embassy of Sustainability in Romania (ASR) is an independent NGO with a non-profit, non-profit, and apolitical purpose. Officially launched in 2018, the Embassy is a program of the Sustainable Romania Coalition Association, initiated following an idea of the team at The CSR Agency. The organization promotes an economic model in which companies, through partnerships, can solve social and environmental problems without sacrificing economic efficiency and profit. Through complementary programs, ASR creates a framework for collaboration between private companies, state institutions, civil society, communities, and involved citizens so that Romanians can live in a healthy environment, an equitable and prosperous society. The organization is funded by Kaufland Romania – Founding Partner, Heidelberg Materials, Lidl Romania – Platinum partners, and UniCredit Bank Romania – Silver Partner.
